Type 1 ¡¤ 2.0 x 5.0 mm Flat Self-Supporting Drop
▪ Construction: compact flat self-supporting drop with strength member for aerial lashing / clamping; G.657 bend-insensitive fiber.
▪ Jacket: LSZH.

¨C F1-A: hardened connector one end + standard SC/APC at the premises end (ONT / outlet).
¨C F1-B: hardened connector one end + bare-fiber stub (pigtail) for fusion splicing inside a closure / terminal.
▪ Where it fits: aerial MST / NAP-to-home runs in North-American-style hardened networks and growing hardened deployments in Latin America.
Type 2 ¡¤ 5.0 mm Single-Fiber Round Self-Supporting Drop (Mini-ADSS Style)
▪ Construction: compact round all-dielectric drop with aramid (Kevlar) strength members - no metal, mini-ADSS style for aerial / facade routing.
▪ Jacket: double LSZH, UV-black (mini-ADSS style).
▪ Builds:
¨C R-A: SC/APC both ends - the Southern-Europe aerial / facade standard (PLP-style), factory set to route length.
¨C R-B: hardened connector one end + standard SC/APC at the premises end.
▪ Where it fits: Southern-European facade and aerial last-drop, and projects preferring a small round all-dielectric cable over flat drop.

Build Your Drop - Selection Steps
Step 1 ¡¤ Cable: flat self-supporting drop for standard aerial clamping (Type 1), or 5.0 mm round all-dielectric mini-ADSS for facade / all-dielectric routing (Type 2).
Step 2 ¡¤ Fiber: G.657.A1 / A2 standard; G.657.B3 on request for very tight storage in terminals.
Step 3 ¡¤ Hardened interface: Mini-SC / OptiTap / 3-in-1 - match the table above to your region and terminal.
Step 4 ¡¤ End build: hardened to SC/APC (F1-A / R-B), hardened to stub (F1-B), or SC/APC to SC/APC (R-A only). Hardened-to-hardened on request.
Step 5 ¡¤ Length: standard 10 / 20 / 30 m per assembly, factory-terminated; other lengths are cut to order.
Step 6 ¡¤ Extra connectors & cable-only: FC / LC connectors and wall-through pushable connectors are made to order. Bare cable by the drum, without connectors, is also available on request.
Step 7 ¡¤ Label & packaging: standard labeling and packaging at normal lead time; custom labels, custom bags or carton marking are a custom service with MOQ and lead time agreed on request.

Ordering, MOQ & Lead Time
▪ Standard end builds (hardened to SC/APC, hardened to stub, round SC/APC to SC/APC): from 1 pc in 10 / 20 / 30 m lengths, ~5-10 days; other lengths agreed on request.
▪ FC / LC connectors, wall-through pushable connectors, G.657.B3 and hardened-to-hardened are made to order: MOQ and lead time agreed on request; a sample can be supplied first.
▪ Bare cable by the drum (no connectors) is available on request.
▪ Mixed lengths / interfaces in one shipment are normal for project roll-outs; reply within 24 h.

Q1. Which hardened interface do I need - OptiTap, Mini-SC or the 3-in-1?
Match the terminals already in your network: OptiTap-compatible for Corning-style MST (common in North America), Mini-SC-compatible for Huawei FastConnect-style ports (common in Asia), and the 3-in-1 universal for Latin America or mixed-vendor fleets (it adapts to OptiTap / Mini-SC / Furukawa Slim). Q2. Flat drop or 5.0 mm round mini-ADSS?
The 2.0 x 5.0 mm flat self-supporting drop is the standard aerial clamped drop for hardened MST-to-home runs. The 5.0 mm round all-dielectric drop suits facade and aerial routing in Southern-European practice (often SC/APC both ends) and routes where a metal messenger is not wanted.
Q3. Can you supply hardened connectors on both ends?
Yes, hardened-to-hardened assemblies (for terminal-to-terminal / extension links) are made to order on request; the standard builds are hardened-to-SC/APC and hardened-to-stub.
Q4. Are these genuine OptiTap / Mini-SC / Slim connectors?
They are compatible alternatives, not OEM parts: they mate with the named terminal systems but are not manufactured or authorized by those brands. We recommend confirming the interface standard and validating a sample on your first project.
Q5. What about MOQ, lead time and shipping?
Standard builds start from 1 pc in 10 / 20 / 30 m lengths in about 5-10 days; other lengths, FC / LC, wall-through pushable connectors and B3 fiber are made to order. A short sample can be sent by courier before the volume order, and bulk assemblies can also be shipped by sea.
