Step 1 · Fiber Type
▪ G.652.D in stock — standard single-mode, best value for straight, normal-radius runs and ODF/equipment patching.
▪ G.657.A1 in stock — bend-improved (~10 mm min bend), fully G.652-compatible; the safe everyday FTTH default when some coiling is expected.
▪ G.657.A2 on request — ~7.5 mm min bend, for tighter cabinet / MDU coiling.
▪ G.657.B3 on request — ~5 mm min bend, ultra-bend for FTTR / invisible and crowded boxes, short indoor reach.
▸ Not sure? G.657.A1 covers most FTTH patching. Specify A2/B3 only where the bend is genuinely tight — we won't upsell a fiber you don't need.
Step 2 · Cable Diameter

FAQ
Q1. G.652.D vs G.657.A1/A2/B3 — which do I actually need?
For normal FTTH patching with some coiling, A1 is the safe stock default and stays fully G.652-compatible. Move to A2 (7.5 mm) or B3 (5 mm) only where the box forces a tight loop; B3 is mainly ultra-compact indoor/FTTR. Straight, normal-radius runs are fine on G.652.D and cost less.
Q2. APC or UPC?
PON feeder/distribution and any RF/CATV overlay → APC (green, return loss ≥60 dB). Active equipment/data ports specifying UPC → UPC (blue). Never mate APC with UPC; the loss is severe.
Q3. Is ≤0.3 dB good enough, or pay for ≤0.2 dB?
A single FTTH link is well served by ≤0.3 dB max (IEC/GR-326). Choose ≤0.2 dB low-loss only when many connectors cascade, the link budget is tight, or XGS-PON runs long. We will not push low-loss you do not need.
Q4. 2.0 mm or 3.0 mm?
2.0 mm for dense in-box patching; 3.0 mm for a sturdier feel, easier handling or a longer / transition run.
Q6. MOQ, lead time — and can I use my own label?
Standard options from 1 pc in 3–7 days. Custom fiber (A2/B3), E2K, custom color, low-loss and private labelling are quoted on request. We can print your P/N, logo, serial or QR code.
Q7. Can I mix connectors and lengths in one order?
Yes. Mixed configurations are normal for project roll-outs and are welcome in a single shipment.
